Poster NZSSD - Nurses as Role models for Healthy Eating and Being Active

Poster presented at the 2014 NZSSD conference by Karen Pickering with results from the qualitative component of her mixed methods research for her Masters degree in Public Health.   This exploratory study looked at the idea of nurses as role models for healthy lifestyle behaviours, their attitudes, how they applied health related behaviours to themselves, and the barriers and enablers impacting their ability to be role models.    Tim Kenealy supervisor and poster co-author.    Congratulations to Karen on receipt of an award for the poster at the conference.
